DAY 2, Wednesday - Arrive in Edinburgh
Arrive and transfer to your hotel. Most flights arrive in the early morning, and your room may not be ready for you. In this case, leave your luggage with the concierge and your Tour Manager will provide suggestions for you to begin to explore the city on your own. Your tour will begin with an orientation meeting with your Tour Manager at approximately 6 PM, followed by dinner. We recommend that you select flights which arrive no later than 4 PM

DAY 3, Thursday - Edinburgh City Tour
This morning's tour of Edinburgh takes you past the Scottish Parliament and the Baroque Palace of Holyroodhouse, the King's official residence in Scotland, once home of Mary, Queen of Scots. View the Museum of Scotland and the 12th century Edinburgh Castle, perched high above the city on volcanic rock at the top of the Royal Mile. The balance of the day is at leisure to discover this royal city independently

DAY 4, Friday - Lake District, Liverpool
Today, travel along the shores of Windermere, the largest lake in England at the heart of the rolling hills of the picturesque Lake District, stopping for lunch at a local farmhouse. Continue to Liverpool, where the Beatles were born and rose to fame. With your guide, explore the notable sights made famous by the Beatles in their songs - Penny Lane and Strawberry Fields. View the legendary Cavern Club, where the Beatles began their journey to fame, and the stunning Albert Dock complex, a reminder of Liverpool's history as a great and prosperous port

DAY 5, Saturday - Stratford-upon-Avon, The Cotswolds, Bath
Depart Liverpool and head south toward Bath. Stop in Stratford-upon-Avon, a market town on the River Avon, the birthplace of England's greatest poet and playwright, William Shakespeare. View Anne Hathaway's cottage and Shakespeare's birthplace on Henley Street. Afterward, spend time at leisure in this town, where the Bard's plays are still performed by the Royal Shakespeare Company. Next, travel through the unique Cotswolds region, an area known for its ancient limestone villages and charming stone-and-thatch cottages. Arrive in the beautiful Georgian city of Bath, the setting for two of Jane Austen's novels. Admire the stunning architecture highlighted by elegant stone terraced buildings, delightful crescents, and graceful squares during the orientation tour before checking into your hotel. DAY 6, Sunday - Roman Baths, Stonehenge
Embark on a city tour of Bath, founded by the Romans as a thermal spa destination. View the Georgian architecture of the imposing 18th century terraced houses of the Royal Crescent, Poultney Bridge, and the preserved 2,000-year-old Roman Baths. Then, travel to Stonehenge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Located in the middle of the Salisbury Plain, Stonehenge is unique among stone circles. The first stone was placed here 5,000 years ago with the structure finally completed around 1,400 years later. Afterward, head to London, the capital of the United Kingdom

DAY 7, Monday - London City Tour
Today, discover the history, pageantry, and sights of the city with a half day tour of London. Begin with a drive through fashionable Kensington with its elegant squares and parks.
