DAY 2, Saturday - Arrive in London
Arrive in London and transfer to your hotel. Most flights arrive in the early morning and your room may not be ready for you. In this case, leave your luggage with the concierge and your Tour Manager will provide suggestions for you to begin to explore the city on your own. Your tour will begin with an orientation meeting with your Tour Manager at approximately 6 PM, followed by dinner. We recommend that you select flights which arrive no later than 4 PM

DAY 3, Sunday - London City Tour, Christmas at Kew
Today, discover the history, pageantry, and sights of the city with a half day tour of London. Begin with a drive through fashionable Kensington with its elegant squares and parks. Pass Harrods store and continue to view Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, Westminster Abbey, Houses of Parliament, and the famous River Thames. Proceed to view Buckingham Palace, the London residence of His Majesty the King. Your tour ends in the heart of London to explore at leisure. Later, experience a world of winter magic at Kew Gardens as they transform into a glittering wonderland. The famous Kew Gardens come alive with a dazzling light trail featuring over a million twinkling lights that illuminate the trees, pathways, and historic structures. Highlights include the dramatic Fire Garden, the sparking Tunnel of Light, and the enchanting Waterlily Pool. Return to the hotel

DAY 4, Monday - Blenheim Palace, Bath, Christmas Market
This morning, visit to Blenheim Palace, birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill. This masterpiece of 18th century Baroque architecture was built in celebration of the English victory over the French at the Battle of Blenheim. Explore the palace set amidst the picturesque Oxfordshire countryside. Then, on to the beautiful Georgian city of Bath, the setting for two of Jane Austen's novels. Admire the stunning architecture highlighted by elegant stone terraced buildings, delightful crescents, and graceful squares. Visit the original 2,000-year-old Roman Baths and the Georgian Pump Room with its natural mineral water. This evening, explore the Christmas market, where over 170 chalets line the streets, offering a delightful mix of handmade gifts, seasonal treats, and unique decorations

DAY 5, Tuesday - Warwick Castle, Chatsworth, Christmas Market
Your day of exploration begins at Warwick Castle, one of England's most impressive medieval fortresses, set on a hill overlooking the River Avon. Stroll through the castle's rooms, which are beautifully decorated for the season, with twinkling lights, grand Christmas trees, and traditional trimmings. Next, drive to the Peak District, an area of magnificent scenery. Visit the impressive Chatsworth House, renowned for its art. Stroll through the State Rooms, the Painted Hall, and the Sculpture Gallery. Each room is dressed in seasonal splendor with lavish displays of decorations, garlands, and elegant wreaths. Later, travel to lively Liverpool, where The Beatles were born and rose to fame. Arrive in the late afternoon and check into your hotel. Next, cross into Scotland at the border town of Gretna Green, famous for its "runaway" weddings, and past Moffat, known for its high-quality wool products. Arrive in Edinburgh, Scotland's capital city, with its exquisite Georgian and Victorian architecture and winding medieval streets. During your stay, discover the city's rich heritage and historic buildings. Its Old and New Town are listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites

DAY 7, Thursday - Edinburgh City Tour, Christmas Markets
This morning's tour of Edinburgh takes you past the Scottish Parliament and the Baroque Palace of Holyroodhouse, the King's official residence in Scotland, once home of Mary, Queen of Scots. View the Museum of Scotland, and 12th century Edinburgh Castle, perched high above the city on volcanic rock at the top of the Royal Mile. Balance of the day is at leisure to discover the Christmas market, nestled against the backdrop of Edinburgh Castle. A variety of traditional wooden chalets feature handmade crafts, unique decorations, and holiday gifts. A visit to the market is not complete without a glass of mulled wine and some local delicacies.
